The Help

Blogger has had some problems over the past few days and we have been unable to post.

Anyway, I got started on my summer reading and I am loving The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Initially I wanted to read it because on the front cover there is a quote comparing it to my all-time favorite book, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Then I saw this trailer and I got even more curious. It looks as though Hollywood has cutsified the book more than a little. I am going to give this novel to my Mother as a Birthday/Mother's Day present. Also I may or may not have finished the The Help in one sitting. It is no To Kill a Mocking Bird but it is still really good.
