One of the things that Kim and I would really like to do with our students is poi. Because poi are not plentiful in Ho Chi Minh City, at least I think they aren't, we will have to make them with our students. Over the next two months I am going to be researching cheap and easy ways to make different kinds of poi. I really like the first set he makes in this video, I think those would be fairly straight-forward to make with a group of kids.
I also found this link that shows you how to make practice poi but I think I like the sock poi better. It might be fun to make some of both.
